Another busy month done, I cant believe there are only about 4 left! I’ll give a quick recap:

Earlier in the month, I went to Uji and Byodoin with the Osaka hiking meetup. That area is famous for its green tea, and there’s lots of fun stuff nearby, like green tea gyoza as well. Byodoin is also a very beautiful temple as well. Check out some more pictures in the gallery.

I also went out for St. Patrick’s day with some friends. We started the night at a kushikatsu restaurant in Namba, and then headed out to an Irish pub. It was so unbelievably crowded you could barely move at all. People say that a lot, but it’s honestly true. There’s no way that was up to fire code.
I also checked out the Nipponbashi Street Festa, which is a cosplay event where they block off a huge portion of the street near denden town. It was crazy busy and there was some amazing cosplay on display. It was lucky that it was so mild out, because some of those costumes looked like they would be very hot, or very cold, otherwise. Check out lots of pictures in the gallery.

Of course the most exciting part was going back to Canada for a couple weeks for Vedran’s bachelor party. It was a real trip being back, even if it was only for a little bit. We held the bachelor party at a cottage up in Blue Mountain and had a great time. It was most of our first times skiing/snowboarding, and we filled out the rest of the times with foosball, games, and drinking and eating like pigs. A few of the less embarassing pictures available here.
This month starts with Mom over visiting. It’s been a couple days already but I’ll recap it in next months post, which will also probably be in Canada, as I’m going back for Vedran’s wedding. I’m going to be awful sick of flying pretty soon, I bet. That’s all for this blog. Until next month!
